GAME #1

DUFOUR:

GAME #2

DUFOUR:
20   EAST SIDE: 11
WowI mean, is there an A Division that we can play in somewhere?  Alright, seriously this is the best weve been playing in a very long time.  Perhaps even dating back to the days when Wayner and Claude patrolled the field and little Junior carried the bats around for the team and sipped beer under the bleachers when no one was watching.  A sweep against East Side is a HUGE couple of wins for Dufour.  Ok, so Simon LeBons team was missing a few key players, but they wouldve had to have career games to even make these games close.  In 14 innings, we spanked out 50 hits and we didnt get to bat in the home half of the first game!  You can bet ole Simon will have his full squad out for the next game and the date is circled in red on his calendar.  Cant wait!

Got to send a few props out to my peeps.  Alex Stuart, who struggled early in the year with only two hits, has completely turned his game around going 7 for 7 last night and scoring 6 times.  Davey Marcattili, who has been taking some flak for his feeble throws to first, has not been feeble at the plate going 5 for 7 and knocking in 6 runs.  Way to go fellas!

There is not one weakness in the lineup from top to bottom, catcher to center field.  Maybe a few attitude adjustments are needed: Munden high-fiving the guy who spanked a meat ball pitch deep over the fence, and Piccott who, when we were up by 10 runs, slid hard into second nearly snapping the leg of the fake Jim Van Horne.  Some physical adjustments could be made as well:  Maunder, who left the game early with a tight hamstring, should have taken advantage of the teams new hyperbaric chamber and on-call masseuse Bridgette (it should be noted that Darryl stayed around to coach third and didnt even take off his cleats, thats a good Bridgeview boy, put er there tough guy!).  And Welcher also pulled up lame (surprise).

Next up is Olands on Thursday of next week.  We are on pace to surpass the prediction of 6-2 in June.  With 6 straight victories, the team is looking awesome.  For those of you who enjoy numbers, check these out:  in those 6 wins, Dufour has outscored its opponents 91 37.  Yikes.  Keep er going boys!

(by the way, Jules spanked a huge shot over the fence and Davey had an inside-the-park four bagger for his first-ever home run.  Thought I forgot eh Davey..Beeeeoooootch!!!)
