A much, much better effort boys!  Not since the Oxner - Royale days has the infield looked so good.  Probably could count the errors on one hand, but would need to take off the socks to count the number of excellent plays made.  And despite a very soggy night in the outfield, not many balls penetrated the armour.  There were some excellent throws made from the outfield as well.  There was the one that Junior bobbled, then recovered and threw a bomb to second to get the out (lets not forget his game-ending catch) and there was the throw that Piccott made all the way from right field to third base for an out (or was that Reid?).  And finally there was Marcattili's bomb from home plate to ....well.... 5 feet in front of home plate.

For the first time this year, the hot bats continued for both games, despite the jinx of the Pez dispenser pitcher.  From the top of the order right down to the lefty rook, the lineup at the plate looked awful scary.  The key is to continue to poke singles out there, and not get all horny for the fence.  Scotty Weatherston is a prime example.  Up the middle everytime.  Nothing flashy, but check out his average when you get a chance.

Nothing negative from those games boys, except maybe the weather.  We are well on our way to the 6-2 prediction for the month of June.  Lets keep er goin!
