Welcome to the
Chappell Kids on the Net! We are glad that you stopped by
to see what we are doing in class. Our class is one of
three second grades at Sycamore Elementary School in Talladega
County, Alabama. Please browse around and see some our

We're
Movie Stars!
When
we think about what it takes to make us better writers, we often
turn to great children's authors and study their
"craft". Recently, Mrs. Chappell's class become
"movie stars" in a teaching video developed by
Cornerstone to model using literature in the writing
workshop. Check it out!
