Contribute with Confidence The Arthritis Foundation is the only national voluntary health agency working to fight the more than 100 forms of arthritis and related musculoskeletal diseases. Since 1948, we have been serving Americans with arthritis, their families and health professionals. 43 million Americans have arthritis, and that number continues to increase. Your support is urgently needed for arthritis research and community services to help families cope with this disabling disease. Overall, the Arthritis Foundation uses 20% of its income for management and fundraising, which is well below industry guidelines. This means that 80 cents of every dollar you contribute supports critical arthritis research and vital community services.
