This was the BEST show yet. I got the priviledge to hear soundcheck and watch the show from backstage and talk to everyone. During Angel Of Mercy, my FAVORITE song, Mr. Lang invited Mike Keller & Matt Farrell from the Keller Bros. to join him onstage. It was wonderful! The Keller Bros. got initiated into the world of touring by Jonny, band, and crew by being attacked with silly string among other things during their set. ;-)

The show was PACKED!!! It was soo AMAZING! Seeing Jonny and Ted Larsen on the same stage was sooo cool! There was hardly any room to move around. My friend Lauren and I spent most of the night with the KBB (who were FABULOUS!!) At the end of the night when we were leaving Mr. Lang spotted us and pointed and says "Hey I know you" to both of us. :-)

As I was driving to Indiana, I get a phone call from David wondering where I was. My buddy Lauren and I were supposed to take him out to eat. :-) So when we got to Ft. Wayne, we took David to Sweetwater Music and we got a tour of the building. The show itself was awesome with the execption of the assholes who liked to call themselves security. The best part of the show was at the very end when Indigenous came back onstage and they all played "Spanish Castle Magic" They were smokin!! After the show we of course got to talk to Mr. Lang. We tried to get Greg the tour manager in the pictue with us, but he wouldnt do it. (Are we gonna have to bribe him?)

Once again the show was awesome. The crowd was more into the the music. How anyone could not be jamming to the music is beyond me. But Oh Well... Spanish Castle Magic was even better this night. Horse from Indigenous and Billy Thommes has a conga/drum duel that was pretty cool. After the show we talked to all the guys again and got our picture taken with Tim the guitar tech. :-) Jon was a regular chatterbox with us. I think other fans were getting upset by how long he was talking to us. OH well. lol :-)

It rained the ENTIRE day..from the time we walked in the gates up until we went home that night. The rain pushed all the artists except Jonny into the side tent to perform. Double Trouble was the best of all the artists in the tent. Jonny braved the rain and came out and played on the big stage. It was so cold you could see his breath as he sang. He must have been freezing in his wifebeater! Finally the rain got to be too much and it was blowing onto the stage and something happened to Jonny's amp. So he had to cut his set. Its better to have an alive Jonny than an electocuted Jonny. ;-)

JL keeps getting better each time I see him. Big surprise of the night. Jon was wearing a black tank top with this red zebra type print on the front. All he needed were some red leather pants for the "Rockstar" look. lol After the show I got to talk to Jon a bit. He helped me out with the lyrics to Only the Wind and apologized for mumbling when he was singing lol He also said the new record would be out in January when I asked him after he was joking with me that me the setlist would eventually change. lol Jonny you rock. Fabulous day. Keller Bros we awesome. Bernard walked out in the audience and played right in front of me. Tim, Corey & Mike from the KBB came out & sat with us for part of the shows. Jonny and band were awesome! Mike Keller came out and jammed with Jonny during Rack 'Em Up. The only downside to the show were some of the people in the audience and their rude and disrespectful comments of someone sitting at the side of the stage who they assumed was Haylie, but was actually Jonny's stepmom, Dana. Fans, have some respect for Jonny and members of his family!

Mr. Lang has a brand new band who are absolutely fantabulous. It was wonderful seeing him live and electric again. I enjoyed the acoustic shows but there's nothing like the enery that boy oozes at a full on rock concert. The new songs off the upcoming CD are pretty good. I had a nice little chat with Mr. Lang after the show and I made him pose with the Star Trek hands since he's a huge fan. hehehe From now on, we will take silly pictures together.
