One Day

one day they will all realize how great I am.
one day they will regret passing me by.
on that fine day i won't be home.
on that fateful day i will be happy elsewhere.

one day they will be making lines outside my door.
one day they will beg me to take them home.
but i won't answer my door as I am long gone,
I will be laying in the sun with someone that took the chance.

one day I will no longer be single to mingle.
one day I will be taken by someone great and beautiful.
but i will say sorry to those who gave up on me.
