God is such a powerful force in the universe that we cannot fully understand his greatness. Not in a million years. However we can learn to try to live by his love. We need his love in a world of despair and hearbreaks. We need his love in a world where nothing seems to go right. We need his love so that we can love others.
My relationship with God goes back to my childhood. My mother read to me that stories of Jesus, David, Moses, and Joseph. Catholic School always help me build the basis for my faith. I could never thank those people enough. But it was not until my grandfather and myself started going to church together that I felt God in my life ever more present. I remember one time when I was scared in the streets of Peru and i would extend my hand out as if walking with someone and I would imagine that Jesus was walking with me. And I believe he was always there watching over me and my family.
Since that time I felt that God was my friend. he is the one and only friend that will never move away, dissappoint you, hurt you, use you. He is the one that loves you the most, yes more than your mother!, because his love is perfect and is not human. His love is the strongest thing in this world!
Love Is God, God is Love!
And thats my thoughts on him for the most part. I know that my spiritual life has a lot of room to grow but i consider myself a Spiritual Person and I think that God is my friend and He will be there until the end!
