| Details : | This is a Chinese majority seat with five state constituencies, of which only Labu and Rantau are Malay-majority seats while the rest have a Chinese majority. Four seats were won by Barisan in the 1995 polls while the DAP won in Temiang (new seat) but he later joined MCA later. Urban seat with businessmen, factory workers and government servants while the rural area comprises Felda settlers. Army personnel account for about 2,000 votes. |
