| Details : | Permatang Pauh is still said to be a stronghold of sacked deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who has been a Barisan MP here since 1982. But he was sacked from the government and party last September and Barisan expects a tough fight. Voters here are mostly petty traders, factory workers, padi farmers and civil servants. |
