| Details : | A traditional Malay area and one of the largest padi farming districts in the state. The constituency also has a sizeable number of Malaysians of Thai origin, accounting for some 8,000 of the voters. The majority are involved in agricultural activities. The remaining 25% are factory workers, wage earners and civil servants. |
