the infinite is fancyful?

All men, by nature desire to know

knowledge and undersatnding

mathemathical arts were fonded in Egypt - 690

after life necesities have been aquired, then
knowledge is thougt to be aquired

Socrates was busy with ethical phylosophy - me

Is infinite one or could be many smaller things - me?

from universal chaos - thru FORMS to the ordered unverse - me.

Forms are the esence of every other thing, and the One
as the essence of the forme.

smpty words and poetical methafors

The internet - even more powerful and influencial,
then the Gunterberg printing press. me

syllables - syllogism?

fundamental science versus applied science

leanrning has a start point from where, using syllogism
and experience, knowledge is gathered, ordered, and validated. me

theoretical knowledge is to lead to truth, while practical
knowledge leads to action.

infinite series -

infinite - makes knowledge impossble - me

nothing infinite can exist -; and if it could, at
lest the notion of infinity is not infinite.

if casues of some action can be infinite in number, then
they can not be understood.

The minute accuracy od mathematics is not useful or
demanded in all cases -+me

a fortiori - term?

Man placed itself, selfishly, in the center of universe as the
graetest creation of God, without any reason then the great gift
of his imagination. If God preocupied withe man's well being,
it is unknown, and in humble opinion God is contemplationg his
own creation, of which man is a small detail. This went so
exagerated, that some believe God has human like appearance; for
the cretor of the universe this sort of assertion is nothing more
then a priori speculation -me.

numbers are not substances, but some abstract notion. When the
numbers are instatened by substance, then not all number propertis
are valid, and as in case of Zeno's problem leads to a paradox. me.

Forms is a substance and none is by accident.

accidenatl attributes - infinitum

being a not man - not being a man - ???

Some statement are sometimes both true and false - me

other animals receive impressions contary to ours,

The impersesssion of God is not seen uniform by people,
and our experiences compund with theoretical learning
has modified the way our mind perceives. - me

opinion by observation of the sensible world

letters are the casue of syllabes, and the material the cause of an object

essential substratum

A thing is called continuous wich has by its own nature one
movement and cannot have any other, and the movement is
indivisible with respect to time.

Potency - a source of movement or change

When numerical relations are acualizated, then some "shortcomming"
arise. me

scandal-monger and complete thief - me

"Limit" means the last point of each thing, i.e. the firt point
beyound which is impossible o find any part, and the first point
wich every part is.

"Limit" also has the meaning of beginning.

"part" means something in wich a quantum be divided

"whole" none of the parts are absent

continuos and limited is a "whole".

"accident" means something that can be asserted, but
neither a necessity nor usualy.

It is an accident that man is pale, but it is not
accidenatl that he is an animal.

God cannot be an accidental being, but man could

substratum is that of which everything else is predicated, while
it is itself not predicated of anything else.

matter - example the broze

IT is imposible that anything should be produced, if there nothing
existed before.

The materieal substratum and the creator (whatever that is: a physical
being or a proces) must priori exist. me

Calias or socrates are diferent in vitue of their matter, but the
same from; for their form is indivisible.

as in syllogism - substance is the starting point of everything

substances, essence and substratum

vinegar is not potentially wine as a dead man is not potentially a man

taking a glass of water from a river does not change the river in
a predictable way, and after the water is removed, the only way
we can quatify what happened is by measurement of the water removed.
Buy looking at the river, By intuition alone, we could not say
that some water was, or was not, removed from the river. The difficulty
arrives from the nature of the river and the relatively insignicative
amount of water removed from it. me

neglect all intuition of equovically defined problems

impotent is contary to potent

non-existing things, some exist potentially

actuality - we connect with 'complete reality'

actuality - an instance of "pottentiality' ME

Obviuosly, the substance or form is actuality

necesiyy of the ethernal mover - ME

ethernal things are prior to --- eternal movement,
if there be such, can not exist exist potentialy only,
but actualy, as it is proven that the "perpetum moblie"
can not exist.

man creation could have been not planned and a is result
of some cosmis accident, that was possible and probable
at the time our universe was created.

Some thinkers are saying nothing, then, while they
appear to say something remarkable.

equal to the great and the samll

if a thing is indivisible is not a real number ???

'medical' and 'healty' terms used regarding the physical
state of the body - me

man is the measure of all things - Protagoras

we are allways changing and never remain the same

we are allways changing - but partially we all remain the same - me.

practical and productive sciences -

car - self moved

INFINITE

infinite as a mangitde

part of the infinite might be infinite

a body is bound by planes - then thee can not be an infinite - me

The expand, a physical body must have its exterior boundaries
defined. The Big Bang does make the universe to expand, but
the expansion implies that the universe boundaries are defined,
and that the universe in a defined state. This means that the
universe is not infinite, as many suggest. That the universe
size is unknown and we call this undefined, it is true. But also
the expansion of the Universe wazs proven by. Hubler in 193x and,
experimentaly verified. Anyway, the definition of the universe
does not seem to hold the experimental observations. Either what
Hubler descovered to be extending is a samller part than the
universe, or we must conclude that the universe, as we understand
it, is in motion, and it is not infinite. me

If the univers expansion part of some harmonical movement? me

if infinite is a number, it is not odd or even.

he object of mathematics are not separate from sensible things.

Many times the definition of God is equivocal. me
