The short review of Genetic Algorithms (GA) is shown. The algorithm steps, advantages and some domains of application are described.
Results obtain by comparasions between two the most popular ways of coding (canonical and Gray) are presented. Algorithms for function optimization are tested on the De Jong's test bed functions.
