A Brief History
JASPAL KAUR PUBLIC SCHOOL was started on 20th April, 1987 to perpetuate the cherished memory of Bibi Jaspal Kaur who left for her heavenly abode in the prime of her youth. With her sweet innocence, warmth, grace and elegance, she symbolized the charm of tiny woman-hood and was affectionately nick-named "Babli".
Her saintly grandfather, Late Sahib Ditta Mal Ji, who led a life of selfless service to saints and sages in ashram run by him at haridwar decided to establish a school in commemoration. It was an article of faith with her esteemed father, Sardar Darshan Singh Ji that "Babli" was a divine reward for some magnanimous deed in the past and no memorial could as truly and effectively depict her simplicity and concern for fellow human beings as an education institution. Her uncle Sardar Surjit Singh Ji and other members of the family perceive in each student, the image of "Babli" and her charmingly demeanor contrasting sharply with her unflinching commitment to the upliftment of humanity.
Aim Of The School
The school has been set up to impart all round education of high quality to meritorious and deserving students from various strata of society. Along with the intellectual development, the traditional Indian values will be promoted with due emphasis on competence, creativity and inculcation of scientific temper & aesthetic appreciation. The school is a full fledged Senior Secondary school with strive to be a prolific nursery of good citizenship for the information rich and technology-oriented society of tomorrow.
