The music started and I kept asking everyone if my groom looked so handsome. I was so excited that I was just coming out of my skin! Finally, it was my dad and I�s turn to walk. I turned the corner and saw Rob and just started crying. He looked like a little blurb at the end he was so far away but still so handsome and it was my DH! My dad handed me off to DH and then stepped on my veil and snapped my head back. Everyone gasped and I laughed so loud and so hard that everyone else had to. It was one of my favorite parts of the day! Our mom�s read the readings and my aunt said our pray and we were surrounded by the people that we love most. It was the most special day of my life. I don�t know who said that full Catholic masses take forever because it flew for us (probably not anyone else, though). All of a sudden, we were married and running down the aisle!
DH and I took pictures and headed up to Sylvan Dale. We didn�t think that we would be able to catch the sunset but we did and I�m sure that all of the pictures we took will be beautiful!
We walked in and were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Dahl and it looked so amazing. Our friend, Cody, was our bartender but also set up all of the decorations for us. She did a wonderful job. We said �hi� to all of our guests and sat down to our yummy dinner. Everyone gave their toasts, which were beautiful, and then we cut our cakes. DH and I were nice and didn�t shove it in each other�s faces. They were delicious! I can�t wait until we have our pictures back so you can see how pretty it was.
Our first dance was one of my favorite parts of the day. We danced to �Annie�s Song� which turned out to be DH�s cousins� first dance song, too! They went out onto the deck and danced. How romantic are they? I danced with my wonderful dad to �Butterfly Kisses� and he told me that he was so happy for us and that we were a wonderful couple. I was just so happy. The party was great, my BM, Tana, caught the bouquet. She was so annoyed that I threw it straight to her�my friends were telling me were to throw it but I didn�t know who to. She was funny. We stayed until 11 and then took a limo up to The Stanley and went straight to the bar, where we met some cool people. It was a blast.
On Saturday, we got up and drove Trail Ridge Road. The weather was amazing (as was my wedding day weather) and in the low 80�s. We drove back to our house and then threw a great, big party at DH�s bar. His sister, Jennifer, had orchids flown in from Hawaii and made us leis for the party. She is so thoughtful. We opened our presents Monday and flew to Hawaii on Tuesday.
