Welcome to
Jim Culwell's Website
I
am a native to California and graduated from Cal State University
Dominguez Hills in spring 2007 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts. I
have been working in the education field for nine years and as a
Para-Educator for three years in PVPUSD. I am currently working
towards my teaching credential at Cal State University Northridge in
the area of Special Education.

I
enjoy traveling. I have been to several places in the U.S. such
as the Grand Canyon, New York, and Washington D.C. as well as
other places. I have traveled to Fiji and all over Isreal.
I love different cultures and getting to know new people and
their customs.

My View on Teaching
In
this day and age I believe that one of the most important aspects of
learning is learning in a productive environment. This
environment is created by educators. My teaching environment will
involve the acceptance and understanding of people from all ethnic
backgrounds. Students should acknowledge and accept others who
are different from them. Creating a possitive learning
environment is key to our student's success.
