To use HPGComm, simply connect your calculator and computer to the serial cable and click Start.

You should then be able to:

• Send and receive files by pressing [SEND] or [RECV] on the calculator and selecting Disk drive...
• Send large games by pressing [RECV] from the Aplet view, and selecting HP39/40 (Wire)
• Receive screen captures by pressing [ON] and [1] simultaneously on the calculator.

NOTE: You must have HPGComm for Windows or HPGComm for Unix/Mac OS X installed and correctly set up in Preferences... in order to use CommUI. For more information, consult the documentation supplied with each program. You need to know where the program is installed, and if you using the Unix/Mac OS X version, you need to know the path to your serial port.

Make sure your desired directory is displayed, and press Change Directory to change it. (You can only change directory when the program is stopped.)

Change other settings by pressing Preferences... and press Quit when you're done.
