| My wife and I live in Maine, just outside of Portland, and have a household full of kids. All of our kids however, were born with a strange birth defect. They were all born with four legs, and fur all over their bodies. (most of them have their moms eyes..) In our household, we have 15 ferrets, 3 cats, 1 dog and a rabbit. |  |

| We are also involved in Ferret Rescue, and since we recently passed our state inspection, we are the only licensed shelter in the state of Maine. We rescue ferrets, rehab them when necessary, and find them permanent homes. Now that we have received our license, we will apply for our non-profit status, which will enable us to better serve the many unwanted and neglected ferrets in the State of Maine. With the 501c3 status, people should feel free to make donations, because they can legally claim them on their yearly taxes. (let's hope it works!) |
