NORWAY-STAVE CHURCH
Norway, Epcot, has the only actual Thrill Ride in World Showcase, "Maelstrom".
Of course, it all depends on your definition of "thrill".
"Maelstrom" is a ride on a Viking Ship thru the history, (And mythology) of Norway. On your journey you encounter and angrt troll, (Trolls are big in Norway, it seems), who send your spiraling backward down a waterfall. Of course, the waterfall is about 6 feet and you go rather slowly, but it's fun. At least you can take the kiddies on without scaring the bejesus out of them.
At the end of the ride, there is a short film on Norway. Please, do yourself a favor and skip it. It is a jumble of a mess that will leave you with no more knowledge of Norway than you have now.
There are two eateries in Norway, Kringla Bakeri, a bakery with interesting treats like candied waffles and cinnamon pretzels. Also, Akershus, a full service eatery featuring a Norweigan Smorgasboart, which has a variety of hot and cold specialities.
By the way, the stave chuch is unique to Norway, and there are only 7 left in the world. Inside you will find a little museum of Norway's history.
