So... this is update number three.  :) - I hope everyone is doing well. I'm actually doing pretty good myself.

Two of my closer friends, Traie and Erik, are going to play in a brass trio that I wrote for class as a performance on a lab probably this coming Friday, so I'm really looking forward to that! Also, there is another guy named Ben who plays the piano who is going to accompany me on violin at a performance, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

We, as to say the Showband, have already put out our first 7 sets of drill. I know that may not sound like much; but we did that in one day! We could put on more drill just as easily. The song is of decent length, so I expect we still have another 15-20 sets to march, which isn't a bad tackle considering we our outside on MWFs.

As far as putting on the rest of the show.... well... we've got a LOT of work to do. We still have three or four other songs to put on the field! It's a LOT of work, but it's also a lot of fun, and you meet a lot of people doing it. The people in the band have become almost like a family, so that's really cool. I get along with all of them...except about 1, because he is so full of himself.

We had band practice 8AM-5PM yesterday (Saturday), and afterwards the brothers and sisters loaded up and hosted a picnic out at Lake DeGray. It's a very beautiful lake, and I took several scenic pictures that I will get up soon.

I am going to create a photo album on myspace that is just for HSU pictures and events, so I will try to get that up and running really soon. It's just hard to take pictures of some things, because most professors don't want to see your phone on.

Anyway, that's pretty much it! All is good here! I am going to pizza hut today with Trae, Erik, Ben, and some other friends and we're gonna just chill there for a while, so I'm out!! :)
