The JK Labs DVC at work

The DVC system from JK Labs is a compact and light weight stealth system built to support professional microphone capsules. But at the same time the DVC outperforms by a solid margin standard solutions for capsule interfaces, active head powering, microphone bodies and signal amplification schemes.  

Being high performing the overall sound will benefit from a careful positioning of the microphone elements in the sound field.             

In the picture below the DVC systems unlocks the true potential of two matched AKG CK61 cardioids flying on location at a live performance in California. The microphones are here equipped with protective screens and "gripped" by a home-made spaced bar (made out of a suitable plastic material with high internal acoustic damping).            

The hole arrangement is mounted to a commercial shock mount and flown on top of a sturdy stand.
