One of the most organizing factors in my life is my Handspring Visor. It's a handheld compluter that runs the Palm operating system. Basically, when 3Com bought Palm Computing, the founders left and started Handspring, and now they're giving Palm a run for their money. The unique thing about a Handspring is the Springboard slot. This is an expansion slot that allows you to turn your Visor into a digital camera, an MP3 player, a GPS, a cellphone and add modems, extra memory, and all sorts of neat attachments. If you click on the link above, and actually buy a unit, I can eventually get a free unit, which of course, I'll give to some poor deserving third world child. Yeah, right!\
I actually use my Handspring with a Targus folding keyboard to work on my book, while at work, or wheneve I want. |
