Well, I'm a shooter. It's not PC to say so these days, but that's the way it is. I shoot competitively in IPSC, and Steel Challenge. I also shoot for fun and stress releif. And lastly, I beleive in an inherent God given right to defend your life, and the lives of those around you, with force if nessicary. In Canada, we are not given a right to keep and bear arms in our constitution, but many Canadians beleive in this right none the less. Enough politics for now.

This is a picture of my (well, just like my) Glock 17. This is a semiautomatic 9mm pistol. It is capable of carrying 17 rounds in the magazine, but in Canada, we're limited to 10 rounds by law. The Glock Pistol revolutionized the handgun industry in the mid 80's. The frame is made mostly of polymer, with metal inserts. The slide, barrel, and most internal parts are made of metal. YES, IT CAN BE DETECTED MY METAL DETECTORS AND X-RAY MACHINES. Glock NEVER made a pistol that could do this. That story is strictly an urban legend. I use this handgun to compete in IPSC and Steel Challenge matches. I also intend to shoot IDPA when Calgary gets a chapter. This firearm is possibly the most indestructible, durable, reliable and user freindly hangun ever made. Glock Links: GLOCKTALK THE GLOCK FAQ
This is my Remington 870 Police Magnum. It's a 12 guage pump action shotgun. This particular model was improved by Remington from a hunting shotgun, for police and defense use. Legend has it, that these guns are hand built and fitted in Remington's custom shop for absolute reliability. I use this gun for shooting 2 gun matches, (handgun and shotgun) and when out in the bush for defense against bears, and two legged predators.

This is my Ruger 10/22. It's .22 calibre semiautomatic, and it has a ten round magazine. I wanted this rifle so bad when I was a kid, and now I have it. It's a great little target and gopher hunting (although as I get older, I have a harder time shooting anything that isn't trying to kill me) rifle. I use this gun to help teach new shooters how to handle a rifle.
