Home Brew Amp

Made from salvaged wood and chassis, this is my home built amp.  It is based on the '59 Tweed Fender Champ circuit.
Wood is maple veneer 3/4" plywood.  Chassis is from a computer power supply system.  Speaker is Celestion 10" 4 ohm.

Uses 1-6v6 power tube, 1-12ax7 preamp tube, and 1-5y3 rectifier tube. Sound is excellent with breakup around 4.  Stained with minwax brand "colonial maple" and finished with poly.

Deviations from circuit are:      1)    Switchable feedback.
                                                    2)    Heater hum balance control.
                                                    3)    Adjustable cathode bias.
                                                    4)    1u bypass cap on second stage cathode.
                                                    5)    Multi tap OPT for optional 8 ohm external cab.
