West Orange St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Parade starts at Mt. Pleasant Ave and Main St.
Estimated travel time is 45+ minutes
Best bet: Park at the end and take free bus
transportation to the beginning. According to the
contract there are shuffle buses at the beginning and
the end.
Take 180 east onto 1280 east to exit 8b, Prospect St for
Verona. Turn right onto Eagle Rock Ave and go down
the hill to the business district at bottom (at this point
Eagle Rock, Main St and Harrison Av all meet and Our
Lady of Lourdes Church is your major landmark).
Turn left, around and along the right side of the
church and park anywhere you can, streets or lots.
The free buses will be by the front right side of the
church. The buses do stop running as parade time
gets close.
If you’re running late go to exit 9, go left onto Mt
Pleasant Av, make the first right after the library to the
rear of the West Orange Municipal building. Try to
avoid this for heavy traffic reasons.
