Blairstown Memorial Day Parade

This parade is about two miles long. Refreshments are provided at the end. We
will play Amazing Grace at a short service at 12:00. The parade itself starts
at 1:00.
From Ledgewood take I 80 west to exit 12, bear right onto rt. 521 for about
6 miles. At the end of rt. 521 make a left onto Rt. 94 to the assembly point
at the old A&P lot. There are no shuttles so we will have to shuttle ourselves.
Park at the beginning, by the old A&P shopping center and the cemetery,
or at the end, Footbridge Park.
Whippany
Memorial Day Parade
The parade starts at 10:00 (according to the information I have been able to
find to confirm).
The Band MUST meet by 8:30 at the end for the shuttle. We will meet in the parking lot behind the Midas Muffler shop off Rt. 10. If you are fashionably late you will have to walk to the beginning.
A bus will shuttle us to the beginning of the parade and we will end by our cars.
The Whippany Parade is 1-1/4 miles long and starts at 9:30. It steps off at the Whippany High School off Whippany Road and it ends by the Foodtown shopping center.
PLEASE BE ON TIME. The bus will leave at 8:45.
FOLLOWING THIS PARADE ALL MEMBERS WILL GO TO THE PARSIPPANY PARADE

Memorial Day Parade
10:00 start
meet at 9:15 am NO LATER!
We will meet in the area of Sharp Ave. off of Riverstyx Rd. Refer to the attached
maps and directions.

Parsippany
Memorial Day Parade-Lake Hiawatha side
This parade's route alternates between the Lake Hiawatha-side and the Rt10/202 sides or Parsippany. There are usually shuttle busses like last year that bring us back to the start once the job is finished.
Rt 10/202 Side Directions:
For the Rt 10/202
start, the staging area is on the Prudential Business Campus off Rt. 10. The
Recreation Dept. requests entry into this area via Dryden Way, which is accessible
from Rt. 10 eastbound. From Dryden turn left onto Campus Dr. and look for information
volunteers to direct you. Judging from the instructions I don't think they're
allowing traffic up 202. The parade marches up 202 north, Littleton Road to
Rita Dr. where it ends at the High School. Marching distance is just over a
mile.
Mt.
Arlington Memorial Day Parade
11:00 start; meet no later than 10:15
Rt 80 east or West to the Howard Blvd. Exit. Go North on Howard Boulevard approx
2 miles to Mt. Arlington School (on left). Turn left onto Kadel Dr. The parade
starts here.
The parade ends slightly up the road at Memorial Pond on North Glen Road.
We will play Amazing
Grace at the ceremony if we have time. All players will go to Parsippany following
this parade.
Roxbury
Memorial Day Parade
10:00 start; meet no later than 9:30
This parade ends at horseshoe lake in Succasunna, DO NOT PARK here. Park in
the school lot across the street so you can get out.
We will meet by the school off of Hillside in the Kenvil section of Roxbury.
If traveling East on Rt. 10 make a left at the first light after the malls (by
Merry Heart). Travel about 0.5 miles and the line up is on the right.
The parade route is Hillside, left onto Main St., right onto Eyland Ave. across
Rt. 10 to Horseshoe Lake on the left.
If it rains we will play under tents for their ceremony.
After this parade its on to the Whippany parade.
Morris
Plains Memorial Day Parade
9:30 start; meet at no later than 8:45
Lineup along side of Mountain Way and Glenbrook Road.
There will be a Parade Marshal to assist in your lineup. We suggest you check
your favorite map/site to locate these streets if you are unfamiliar with Morris
Plains.
Memorial Day Services start at 9:00, Roberts Garden.
Route: At 9:30, parade steps off Mountain Way, left onto Rosedale Ave. Left
onto Speedwell Ave (north), under RR tressel,
left onto Tabor Rd, right into CFW Post 3401 for refreshments.
