The Things That Matter the Most
My Family
My Dad:
My Dad's name is Philip Lee Johnshoy. He grew up in the tiny town of Starbuck and graduated from Starbuck High school. He then went onto college at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. There he got his degree in Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ventilating. Making him a Mechanical Contractor. After college he met a girl named Cindy, who little did he know lived less than 10 miles from him his whole life. He stole her purse, and this was the beginning of a great friendship that grew into love. The couple got married on December 8th, 1979. He now owns his own business, Johnshoy Plbg, Htg, and HVAC that does commercial and residential work.

My Mom:
My Mom's name is Cindy Kay Johnshoy. She grew up in the even smaller (than Starbuck) town of Lowry. She grew up on a farm with 6 siblings, 1 brother and 5 sisters. She graduated high school in 1975, the same year as my dad, and got a job at the Creamery in Starbuck. Shortly, thereafter, she met my Dad. After being married, she became pregnant with her first born (me) in the winter of 1983. She had two more children Shari (1986) and Tena (1989). Eventually, with Phil's business doing well, Cindy quit her job to become a full time Mom. Recently she began working again at Minnewaska High School, the place where all her children attend(ed) Jr. and Sr. High school.

My Sisters:
The next sibling in line is Shari Jo. She was born Sept.3 1986 making her 17. She has been involved in many sports including soccer, softball, and basketball. She also maintains a position on the honor roll. After graduating she plans to attend a Technical College to pursue a degree in Nursing.

Tena Lee, 14, was born on April 8th, 1989. She has also been active in soccer. Tena is a good student also keeping her G.P.A. high enough to be on the honor roll. Tena's favorite T.V. show is
Golden Girls, which she watches religiously. Tena wants to be a cruise director after graduating from high school allowing her to travel around the world.
