The two scarves above I knitted for myself; I had made some to give for Christmas, but I wasn't sure how these yarns would knit up, so I decided not to use them for gifts. The one on the left is soft, thick and furry. The one on the right is less thick, but more colorful. Both are mostly acrylic, so they are very warm. |

This is a close-up of the peach shawl that is the background for all of these pages. The yarn (also used for the basket-weave scarf, right) is a cotton-wool blend that is unbelievably soft and comfy. I will try to get a photo of the whole shawl on here soon. |
