Shepherd Family Photos |
I don't know much about the early Shepherd ancestors, but I have a few photos of them. My g-g-grandfather was Jasper Shepherd, a quiet farmer in Miller Co. Missouri. He and his wife raised a large family, and my grandmother Ruby McCubbin, always speaks lovingly of her aunts, all 5 of them! These are some of the photos I have of the family. If you would like copies, please e-mail me with your request. |

Confederate soldier and my great-great-great grandfather, Jacob Shepherd (1846-1921). Jacob served in the 8th Division of the MO State Guard. That is all I know of his service. He is buried at the MO Soldier's Home in St. James. |

Sarah Mary Lawson Shepherd, wife of Jacob Shepherd. Not much is know about Sarah, just that she was born in 1848. She is the daughter of John and Martha Caroline (Gibbs) Lawson. |

Jasper William Shepherd (1872-1958) and wife Julia Ann (Bilyeu) Shepherd, 1925. These are my great-great grandparents. Julia is the daughter of Fielding and Mariah (Capps) Bilyeu, another well-known Miller Co. family. |
