This weekend we were able to film more of the music video. First of all, we decided to revise our recent filming. We looked over the film, and found that - because of the power outage - the shot of the band was much too dark. And, because of the eve's dropping of Jake's brother Tyson, the actors/actresses didn't work to their full potential, due to a little embarrassment.
We refilmed the movie, Chris Murdock controlling the video camera. We first filmed the band playing the song using only close-ups. Then, we did the same thing, only this time using a mid-length shot.
After doing this, we recorded the drums and records (turntable) solos. Then we began the actual story of the film. We did not film the parts using the car chase, but we filmed the parts using Jake.
We filmed a couple of the parts with the main villian of the film, which Chris played, including the big fight scene. The fight scene shows Jake step into this large courtyard, and Chris is on the other side. They walk towards each other, getting ready to fight and feeding each other menacing glares, then with the beat of the drum, Jake punches Chris in the face 3 times, following with a roundhouse kick, which knocks Chris to the ground.
More of the film will be shot with the next meeting of Jeff and Jake.
