Bihun tahu bakso ( rice vermicelli with meatball and tofu) yum yum...when we go to Asian store James asked me to buy ingredients to make that. He likes the food when last time we went to Anthony's apt and he made that. While I want to go to asian store to see what kind of snacks they have that I can satisty myself with that ( miss the home country). And also want to buy ham for Maria. We went to nearest asian store here, that is Golden Lion in Brooklyn Park. The store we know from Susan Djohari that she said Anthony bought those ingredients there, and also I want to know because the place is closest than asian stores that in Nicollet Ave. The store is big, clean and complete, but to bad the ham that I want to buy they didn't have. James asked the man that actually the owner and he explain that next month he will try to have that for us. And also he said thank you that telling him what things that need. And he asked where I come from when he know from Indonesia he said that tell us things that food that Indonesian used to have so we can serve you. How nice!! And he gave us free beansprouts about 1/4 kg? First I think because we spent about 27 dollar there but then I realize maybe that apologize because thing we looking for they don't have.
O ya he is Cambodian, where his grandpa from China. Nice guy! Will come back there for shopping. closest, cleaner, and the vegetable more fresh. also they have the same price with other stores.

We bought the meat bone at Cub Food. Because we didn't see it there. Then we went home. And I start cook. O I have never made this kind of food before. But then I know the idea. So I need more information from Internet and I find the recipe just the one I want. The taste is good. And we chose firm tofu ( there are degree firm of tofu) We used beef shanks ( yes there is still lots of meat there, only a tiny bone->James picked this he want more meat (lol))

O this afternoon I made own tacos, with ground beef, green bell pepper and onion. I added curry powder and oregano for taste. Mexican cheese. James said please add more cheese and also he prefer crunches shells.
