We found this apt from rent.com. We also did some visiting to some apts and we found this one is the best one at this time. Also we already checked with Hopkins police dept about crimes that might have occured in this building. They said, 3 cases last year. And all about parking violation.
We made appointment for 5 o'clock, and we arrived there about 4.45 pm. We buzz the rental office but no body answer, and the line seems busy. So we waited and call and call again. We also found the door has been locked. And we waited, while we were waiting there was a guy from Time Warner want to instal cable and he was waiting to. James talked to him about trick and tips about hacker. And the guy thankful for that. While James talked, I tried several time buzz the rental office thru call box, but always busy. Then James told maybe the lady was busy talking with her boyfriend, and I laughed and said no way...( I knew that the lady was very old). I tried to look what was inside through the window box lower part of the door and I saw no any legs there, and also the light on. So? or the lady became ill and go home early? if that so then she would turn off the light.
I tried to knock the door, but there was no answer.
James said ooo...maybe she was taking a nap? then I laughed. Probably. Then we asked some residents there, they said the office opens til 6 pm, so we buzz again and try call through cell phone still a busy line. then James said maybe she was taking a nap, yes I think so, and three of us laugh ( the cable guy that lent his cell phone to us laughed also). Then came 2 Indian men and they were the one that the time warner guy waiting for. Then they needed to pick up their apt key from the office, so I told them about it. Then one of them knocked the door, louder than me. After a while we heard the sound from inside. And here they were, the lady ( old) but different with the lady first visited. Look as she tired and just woke up. The Indian guys asked the lady if she was on line, because the telephone busy, she said, no It was not on. James and I, we have smiled in our face, also the time warner guy :) because we all have same thought.
We filled the application, and we have to wait for them to check and verify the data. And will get back to us 5-6 days ahead.
