Jenny Birthday, April 4, 2004
It is birthday! and I was waiting what James would prepared for me, Carol, my church's friend sent me email asking about going out for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I said yes, and I told James if he wanted to come along. He said Carol invited you, so you only go. Ha. Then the day came, April 4th, and we missed to meet Carol in church as supposed to because we were late to go there. Then we called her and we made appointment to go some place, James didn't want to tell me. In the way to go there, I kept asking which place that we want to go. I'm not to tell you he said. Then he gave me a clue, the place that we talked about sometimes, ha Outback? no, Applebees?no, Dairy Queen? no, Joy of India? O I've forgotten already. Couldn't guess then. We then saw Starbucks and I said oo we will go to starbucks right? he just smiled. Shh...I knew we would go to starbucks as I guessed that there were some friends waiting for me and say Happy Birthday!! and trumpet and balloons...
but he went straight instead of turned left, and the place that I could see was Doolittles Air Cafe, ooo actually James delivered me to this place, the place that James said the food is good, sometime ago.

When we were there no body we knew was there. We waited. And then came Carol, Lisa and Don. What a surprise! Actually James invited more people,  Jay, Ed, Frank, and Stacy from volleyball, but they couldn't come.

We had alot of fun, talking about various things, Indonesia, food, daily life, and some issues. Woah...what a party! And the cafe gave me a free dessert or drink, I chose a dessert. Browniecake with 2 scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. We shared the brownie together...

I chose medditeranian pasta with shrimp. But the taste wasn't really good. James chose hamburger with french fries. I would say, nothing special on the food.
With the same price I would prefer TGI Friday. But then this is a new experience for me.

James Doolittles is a army-air force general that proof we could use airplanes in  war in the world war II.

O yeah I got some gifts from Carol and Lisa...
Here they are:
Carol: A book and bookmark
Lisa: spices jars, salt and spice caddy, and photo holder.
Woahh...Lisa's gift was something that I need for sometime which I always wanted to buy but never happened.
Also the free dessert, brownie was a cake that I've been wanted for so long since I have been here! But always delayed to buy it!

God really paid attention for my desire. Just be patient and waiting for His time sometime it was something that I didn't pray and only want then booom I got it..it happened many times. Be faithful to Him, He is never dissapointing
This morning I opened my mail and see what happened? I got mails! from Yenna, Mom Mary, Charleen, Noelle, Jaide, Aunt Diane...
They said: Happy Birthday!

Maria and Carol also sent a ecard a couple days ago
And Patricia sent a card from Indonesia which I received a week ago
Whoaa....so happy!
James said happy birthday to me yesterday 2 times, today 3 times,when I woke up, on way to church, and at the cafe...what a caring husband :)
James, what is a birthday present for me??
in mocked and tempted of being an angry
I crossed my arms, I asked him :)

I have been teasing him since yesterday, by doing that...It was so funny to do this and to see his reaction
