At Doug and Maria's, Jan 1, 2005
Maria prepared ham, yams, various salads, bread, snacks and candies. Lots of food.
We have lunch together on Sat Jan 1,2005. Noelle leaded with prayer. And we enjoyed our food. After that we exchange gift. We took gifts and bring them to person that name in the gift. Lots of surprise. James got birthday presents from Leslie, Maria and Marcia. I got anniversary gift from James. And also from nieces. Also got a shawl homemade I don't know from who. Afterthat we played the name five dice. There were bunch of gifts ( dollar store gifts) then we play dices, if 2 dices we shook contain same numbers then we would take one gift. And the gifts marked adult and kids. In this game, a gift name nascar fan became popular and most people like Dakotah, Mom and James want to take it. Finally Dakotah took it after trade it with Mom. After this game we played spoon. Interesting game where we play card then we have to match 4 cards with the same number and take a spoon on the table. Once the spoon taken by one person, other players have to take one as soon as possible because there is one spoon short. If one player lost their spoon 3 times, they out. The first person that out was Maria, because her sitting position and carrying Sheyenne. Then Dakotah, Doug, Jenny, Charleen, Mom, Scott ( Leslie's new boyfriend) and the 2 last were Leslie and James. And guess who was win? Yes, James! He has not have any P (enalty) at all!
After spoon we played 500 but only Mom, James, Doug, Leslie. and Scott learnt.
Jan 2, James with Doug helped fixed the truck. And we went home before that we stop at Mom's.
We didn't have chance to write down New Year Resolution. Even we already had pillow talk when we ready to sleep what we hope for this year. For me to have self improvement is the 1st place. For James get a house. But it is all depend on Him. Sometimes He gives something that we didn't know that He give us so soon sometimes what we want for so long, we still have to wait more.
O ya Jenny got kitched aid 14 pieces set from James as Christmas present. Wow..wow...I have never dreamed have this luxury set.
I gave James pajamas :) at first a flannel sleepwear but then it was to big for him. Yay, he said don't give any clothes for present anymore :)
