Also buy some groceries at Target and Walgreens. Hehehe I bought them by gift card (Target) and little cash ( USD 5) for groceries at Walgreens, the cashier at Walgreens got confused because I used 1/2 dollars, 1/4 dollars coins and 1 dollar. She was asian, she asked me what is the value of the coin of 1/2 dollars. No kidding. I think I am the one that blind and not know about currency here, which I learnt day by day ( must to). Anyway this is the 2nd time I went shopping by myself.
When I broil the hamburger, I didn't know that I need to turn on the fan, because it smokey, wa..what I knew that I heard loud bell ringing then I thought it something outside that maybe fire? so the landlords gave us the warning? or the people that teasing us by ringing the bell, is that bell or alarm? while my mind figured it out what's that. Then I saw the alarm on and near the door of my apt. And that was the source! Then I realized that was smoke detector. Ooo I turned on the fan and try to reduce the smoke so it didn't ringing longer. Sure they didn't have on-off mode :) And share with this with people at indo usa couples website, they came back to me right away, with 2 suggestion, pull out the battery and using fan to avoid the smoke in the area of the detector
