The French Reception
The reception in France had a beautiful setting in a ute little restaurant called the Moulin au Poivre in the heart a small Provencal town called Pelissanne where Jess' grandmother lives. Blended with a provencal band, lots of family and friends and excellent food, the ambiance was fantastic and we all had a great time.
Us in front of our tradiational French wedding cake called "la piece montee". It is made of custard filled profiteroles and coated in hard caramel. Really yummy.
Mammy, her brother George (from Normandy), and Jess
Beth and Andrea having a good time chatting at one of the long tables..
To the left is  apicture of two friends Fanny and Karel and to the right is a picture of Jean and Michele (jess' aunt and uncle who have acted as our surrogate parents over the past nine months.
A few pictures of the family enjoying their meal and the music throughout the night. Below is a particularly cute picture of Max and Annick dancing.
More friends and family enjoying the food and music.
Who are these people? You guessed it. . .friends and family!
It was a great night and a fun way to celebrate our marriage (Haha. . .how many people get to celebrate two times?). We sure are lucky. A night to remember.
