Get a Hold of yourself
What's wrong with you guys? you outta your minds? you really think
Indian culture has any match with our Islamic norms and values? O.K.
its true that English films do and do even more damage to our Islamic
ideology then Indian films but it doesn't mean that you start saying
"O.K. so turn off English films too or turn 'on' both". I mean get a
hold of your self guys! what's wrong is wrong!. it should be banned.
'if you want to capture a tiger you catch its cubs and it comes to you
itself' Banning of Indian films is just the same. Its a step closer of
maintaining our Islamic ideology.
As far as the question of entertainment arises-Stop sitting in front
of the damn TV! Get socialize! meet people talk to them, get to know
the things round you. I mean general knowledge aside ( Discovery
Channel is still there). Hangout with friends; get to know your
neighbors, your community, Believe me try for a week-you wont be
talking entertainment by then. If you feel its still not enough, Study
Quran (with understanding), read ahadith. attend religious seminars as
well as those relating to science and technology and discussions. Try
to be more regular in your prayers. After all the holy prophet (pbuh)
said " Salat has been made the coolness of my eyes" What could be
better then this? If you pray five times a day at home, try doing so
in the mosque. If you don't then start praying. Advice your friends
and relative to do the same.
Cause according to a hadith:
'The first question that a person will be asked in his grace will be
whether he prayed his salats"
"I wish I were to tell my followers to father wood for fire and
prepare for salat. And then go house to house and burn the houses of
those who stay in their homes and miss their prayers without any
reason. But I don't because there may be young children in the house"
Try helping the poor of your society. Teach your servants how to read
and write, teach them how to pray. Why not learn some new sport? What
about doing some volunteer work? Why not make a Website? Believe me!
anyone can make it, if he knows how to use a mouse and keyboard only.(
Microsoft FrontPage would do the job)
You want to get advanced right? why not work?? China came after us it
did it without films. Japan did it after being death bombed. They
worked days and nights to build there economy. The companies there had
to force there workers to go home and take some rest. there average
work time per person reached 22hr. ours is only 5 mins. Cheesuzz
Fries! for Allah's sake! Cant believe it ain? Its all in the records.
O.K. so we stopped all the foreign culture from being injected into
our lifeline (bloodline) Now what? what do we do with our local
industry? I guess what they're (our directors and producers) are
trying to do is to modernize us (westernize in other words right?)
There Dramas seem to depict " yes man right ! get modernize! girls get
yourselves some tight sexy clothing and boys go after em!
What I mean to comment is pretty simple- Stop following them like a
Zombie! Or at least if you are keep in mind the Islamic norms and
values. If you want to be where they are now, copy those things that
led to their success not the opposite!
Yea yea now you'll think that I belong to some narrow minded, psycho,
extremist militant group. Funny I don't! But let me ask you on simple
question- before you go on and call me all that- Have you ever read
the Quran (With understanding) and Ahadith regarding this
modernization gizmo you're always talking about?
Like excuse me! But I've heard of this word being used with reference
to music, films and fashion and not to forget promotion of boy-girl
relationship in our local media. But say if modernization is about
reducing your clothing to half, listening to Mr. Slims shady's song
who abuses his own parents and others,
"She use to tell me my daddy was a bad man he use to hate me...but
then I got a little bit older and realized she was the crazy
one...S****, B****..."
And conducting fashion shows around the country then ill say go get a
life, because for Allah's sake you a Muslim? These things have no
place in an Islamic society.
For say just for once imagine if the last apostle of Allah, Prophet
Muhammad pbuh would have been here now. What would have he thought?
What would have he said? What would have he prayed to Allah for? We
just sit around and talk shit and hope the prophet pbuh would
intercede for us on the last day. Ever imagined what his reaction
would be on the environment were living in and on the type we are
trying to create?
What we're trying to say is "okey, listen to songs, give some charity,
see some nice hi-fi and romantic movies, do fashion and walah! we just
became the most advanced country in the whole damn universe and got
out ticket to paradise" No way my brothers and sisters. This is just
not the way. key to success lies in hard working, with infinite
determination in strictly disciplined principles (faith); Principles
for us should be the Islamic Shariah.
I have a few friend having some unfortunate ideas. They say Shariah or
the Islamic law is old, it cant be imposed now, its not that
modernize. O.K. wow! Can anyone tell how advanced and big the Islamic
state spread in the days of the caliphs and even after 'em. Such views
regarding Shariah to be old and useless are nothing but lame excses.
The problem is that we've gone so deep to be materialistic and have
went so far from Islamic values that wesee it now as a totally
different entity. (beyond mind--->(shariah)...na-ozobiallah...made by
stupids)
As a poet says with regards to the difference between a devotee and a
modernized creature
Let us differentiate between a devotee to Him and a modernized in
nature
A devotee to Him is he, who gives for Him his life and all the worldly
collaboration,
Modernize in nature he who tries to justify his Creator for this
worlds beautification.
I'll give you a simple example. We all praise America right? We say
what they say. Okay, the Talibans were narrow minded, they didn't give
women there rights, they took other sects beside them as Kafirs. So
what's happening in America now? according to the statistics if every
adult gets married, there will still be well over 2 Million women left
being unmarried. In New York alone 10's of 100's of women get raped
every month! Killings and robberies occur every single day in the
glorious city NEW YORK! The robberies are so often that it is
estimated that if the lights were to go off in any state of USA for a
few minutes the robberies worth in billions will be carried out. And
what about the greatest of the greatest Human right protector-America?
What now? The police their can grab anyone without a warrant and carry
out an interrogation. What about Mr. Bush's comment n Middle-East
conflict. "Mr. Arafat should stop suicide Bombers" Wow! who has the
army Israel or Palestine? Don't they (America and Israel) get it? They
wont sit in peace until they let go off there lands. (Palestinian
Negotiator Violent mind if void of hope.....) Mosques were burnt.
Hundreds of thousands dies in India in communal violence. Muslims were
massacred and are still being targeted, and Mr.Sam just expressed
suspicion and one Church was attacked and look at the frown on Mr.
Sams' face. He called all the so-called "Unnecessary staff" back.
What's happening with the War prisoners in X-ray camp at Gutanomo bay
is in front of you too. They are being deprived of the basic senses of
a human. Blackened Goggles to kill the sight. ear muffs to kill the
sense of hearing, surgical masks to kill the sense of smell, gloves to
kill the sense of touch plus hand cuffs. Moreover red jump suits so
that they can be easily be pointed out if the wander out. And put in
small cages.
Some say the Talibans or say the Afghanis were stupid people. muslims
killing Muslims. Ahan. let me advice you something. " You have no
freaking right to call a person stupid if he does jihad"
A Christian author of a Book written on Jihad defined the word Jihad
very effectively:
