It was a beautiful afternoon in the city of White Plains. It was all quiet, until gunshots broke the silence. You could hear people screaming and a couple more gunshots. Seconds later, police cars come onto a street and stop at an old white house. They break down the door and run in. There's an old lady, an old man, three men, two women, and three children outside. Minutes later, ambulences (sp?) arrive. The officers take a man who appears to be in his thirties into the police car. Doctors bring out 4 people, all on stretchers. They included girls who looks about 15, 12, 10, and a woman who looks to be in her mid-twenties. They rush to the hospital, hoping to save them all.

A day later, the woman, who was really 32, and the young girl, who was really 8, were pronouced dead. The woman for lack of blood, and the young girl for lack of blood and an athsma (sp?) attack. Their names were Isabelle Rodriquez (30) and Jennifer Rodriquez (8). The mother had suffered from a gunshot near her heart and the young girl was shot on her shoulder, but her death was mostly caused by fright. The oldest girl, who's really 13, is in critical condition because she lost a lot of blood. She recieved the same wound as the mother. The other one, who's really 10, was shot on the shoulder, but it wasn't that serious.

Their names were Alicia Estela Rodriquez (13) and Daisy Rodriquez (10). Alicia got of critical condition because her aunt, Eliza Romero, donated some of her blood. Alicia and Daisy left the hospital with tramatizing memories.

When Alicia arrived at school, she received some hateful glares. When she asked one of her friends about this, she just said that they were jealous of her. She didn't understand why. She was just a normal dark brown haired short girl with dark eyes who just had her braces removed.

The memory of what happened kept replaying in her mind, so she decided to tell someone. She told her best friends, Melissa, Patricia, and Christina; about what happened. She was crying when suddenly, Patricia slapped her. She looked up and gasped at the anger showing in her eyes. "Stop with the sob story. We all know that it's not true!"

"But it is! My mom and Jenni died! Look, I even have the wound!" and Alicia showed them.

"It's fake, just like you!" and Patricia poked the wound really hard. Alicia gasped out in pain. It was starting to bleed through. Only Christina noticed.

"I don't even know why we put up with you! You're ugly, stupid, fat, idiotic, and you always try to get all the attention to yourself. We wish that you were NEVER BORN!!!" exclaimed Patricia. Alicia's eyes brimmed wtih tears.

She looked down and said, "I know you feel that way. My father felt the same, and look at what happened. I lost my mom, my younger sister, my innocence, my happiness, and my best friends, who I thought were like my sisters. But if you feel that strongly, then I'll grant your wish, just so you will be happy."

When she turned away, Patricia said "Stop with the drama! You always make such a big deal about everything, just so people can feel bad and pay attention to you." Patricia spun Alica around to face her. " Why do you always do that?" Alicia saw sorrow in her eyes, but just thought it was her imagination.

"I don't try to get all the attention on me. For once in my life, I just want to feel loved and important to someone." and she walked away. She snuck a peak at Josh and a tear fell down her cheek, thinking that she'll never see him again. She walked out of the school, never looking back.

Paula was standing there, shocked at all the emotion that laced Alica's words. She felt something in her chest as Alicia's last words were replaying in her mind. 'I just want to feel loved.'

'Oh god, what have I done? I just lost a really good friend. Why did I even say that to her. I should go and try to make it up to her.'

~Oh, you are so pathetic! Do you really think that she was telling the truth? You know that she always lies and she could have been lying about this too! Are you going to be weak and have people take advantage of you?~

'But Alicia doesn't take advantage of us. It's mostly the other way around.'

As the war in Paula's head was taking place, Josh was mentaly beating himself up. He couldn't pay attention to anything around him. All her could think of was her eyes full of sadness, wisdom beyond her years, pain, betrayal, and love towards him. 'How could I have been so blind? All this time she loved me the same way I loved her, and I let her go. I'm an idiot. I will never find anyone like her again. I hope I'll be able to see her again.'
