Travel Disaster

Ah, Cozumel, beautiful Caribbean paradise. Some might call it heaven on earth. 
Not Roe M. She couldn't leave the island fast enough. What started out as a 
tropical getaway turned into a string of disasters that would have been funny 
if they hadn't been so annoying, and at times, even painful. It all started 
with a cave dive. After struggling to find her way out of the cave with a 
faulty flashlight, Roe was kicked into the coral by another diver. Nursing 
her lacerations, she surfaced, only to find that the boat was leaving without 
her! She managed to call the boat back, only to be greeted with curses from 
the passengers and crew.

Once safely on shore, Roe decided to rent a motorbike to see the sights. Almost 
immediately, the bike's breaks locked up, sending her tumbling off in a virtual 
somersault to land in the street with a sprained ankle and covered in gasoline. 
Undaunted, Roe rented a convertible to resume her tour. All was well until she 
stopped at an outdoor cafe to see its main attraction, the local wildlife. While 
she was enjoying a cocktail, a monkey jumped onto her head and ate all of the 
plastic flowers on her hat. Thoroughly exasperated, Roe retreated back to her 
hotel and parked the convertible. She stepped out from the car only just in time: 
a bus ran right over the car!
