Tales of Symphonia

Console: Gamecube

Category: RPG

Developer: Namco

Players: 1-4

Writer: Jiwe Greene "The Webmaster"

With the greatest celshading graphic so far, Namco is giving us a really great RPG.

Once Upon a Time, there existed a giant three that was the source of all mana. A war, however caused this tree to wither away, and a hero's life was sacrificed in order to take it's place. Grieving over the loss, the goddess disappeared unto the heavens. The goddess left the angels with the edict: "You must wake me, for if I should sleep, the world shall be destroyed." The angels bore the chosen one, who headed towards the tower that reached up unto the heavens. And that marked the beginning of the regeneration of the world.

So this epic adventure begins, it has one of the best fighting systems of all time, and the voices are suprisely good, if you count the fact that it's a japanese RPG we're talking about. The only real bad thing about this game was to travel on the world map, that just seems so boring. This game can also be played with friends, but only in the fights, and the camera is focused on the first player. The game lengt is about 40 hours, for the first time. When you have cleared the game once, you can add different features for the next time you will play this game, but more of that you must find out for yourself. This is one of the best RPG games 2004, in my opinion, it's the best, so what re you waiting for?

Warmly recommended.
