AN INTERIOR. A LABORATORY. AN EVENING
In a hall with bushes, plants and trees, a middle-aged bioengineer (named Paul) is sitting on a hanged clear of the ground cyber-seat. There are some semitransparent holograms of scale models and biological-cells formulas.
Many cables come out from a huge computer-machine. There is a table overwhelmed with books, DNA-models and monitors.
PAUL
Six-hundred chromosomes? No, it’s impossible... There is no plant with such a DNA.
Paul twists back and touches a panel. A hologram keyboard appears and he quickly enters supplementary data over it.
COMPUTER BALDER
The verification has completed.
Unknown code. There is no data base-binding additions.
AN INTERIOR. A HOLOGRAM
The Paul’s virtual hands catch hold of triple DNA spiral. It twists and joins up with coming near composite parts.
PAUL
What, the hell, is this!?
COMPUTER BALDER
Unknown vegetal structure. A chlorophyll cell with an excrescences of neuron.
AN INTERIOR. A HOLOGRAM
A model of cell nucleus encloses with cytoplasm. Enzymes penetrate in the cytoplasm generated a cell- membrane. Dendritic divisions arises.
COMPUTER BALDER
The temperature has a one-third risen. It is starting a high speed mitotic partition.
AN INTERIOR. A LABORATORY
Paul moves the chair. Shift away a panel and looks at a complicated mechanical construction.
AN INTERIOR. AN AQUARIUM
A powerful floodlight lights as a sun at a huge aquarium resembling a test-tube. Filled with a steam, there is flashing lightings in it. In the middle of a small island erupts a diminutive volcano. The water boils. A cyber hand-microscope follows a spot over the island.
COMPUTER BALDER
The System reports on living substance. Risen amount of chlorophyll and enzymes.
PAUL
The life cannot generate by itself! The every one organism is given rise by... another organism!
COMPUTER BALDER
Cell partition speed: three-hundred milliseconds.
PAUL
No one thing can partition itself in such a speed!
COMPUTER BALDER
Entire cell-splitting. Changed structures and component belongings.
AN INTERIOR. A HOLOGRAM
The cells split more rapidly and form tissues.
AN INTERIOR. AN AQUARIUM
A beechmast creates.
A massive tremor sways and deform the aquarium. The mechanical hand bounces up and falls broken.
COMPUTER BALDER
The directions in
AN INTERIOR. A LABORATORY
The chair bounces. Paul loads some data by the keyboard. He changes some rates and values, turns on checkboxes. He leans back on the chair and picks up his hands in of anticipation.
PAUL
These are incorrect computations! Restart the system now!
COMPUTER BALDER
(after a pause)
The System is not responding.
AN INTERIOR. AN AQUARIUM
Electrical sparks embrace the beechmast. The fluid boils. There is great fume inside the aquarium.
The aquarium becomes cracked and explodes. The liquid floods the floor and thunderbolts run over it.
AN INTERIOR. A LABORATORY
Cables break off out the computers with electrical sparks. Fire swords rise and slash the machines. Leaves and tree branches fall down to the floor. Paul feverishly closes the panels. The systems die away. Paul finds himself standing in front the fire swords.
PAUL
Îh, my God!...
The fire swords lash at him.
