MEETINGS AND BADGEWORK
Our next meeting will be Monday, May 9th, from 7pm - 9pm.

We will pick-out and assign parts to our skits, and songs, to complete the drama, and filiming portion of our "STARS" Patch Program. Also we will work on the written portions of the "STARS" Patch Program application. We will get a jumpstart on our scrapbook page, to submit with our "STARS" Patch Program application.

We will complete our patch program sections after the 15th of May, when we go dancing and listening to LIVE music!, at the Mercury Cafe!!

All Gold badges (Interest Prjojects), must be completed by the end of May at the latest. All GOLD applications need to be reviewed by your leader and submitted to Girl Scout Council before June 6th!!
STARS PATCH PROGRAM
On May 14th, Saturday, from 1-4pm, at the Northglenn Christian Church - located at 1800 E 105th Place , (105th & Irma), we will film our skits for Council and Northwoods Unit, which will complete the "Film" and "Drama" portions of the STARS Patch Program.

On May 15th we will visit the Mercury Cafe - to learn our JAZZ Swing dancing and listen to a Music performance by a life band.
After completeing our patch work, we will complete our packets and completre our scrapbook page to be submitted to council. As soon as I receive the patches form council I will get them to you! This has been a long and difficult, but fun, patch program, and I hope all of you have enjoyed it!
FIELD TRIPS
We have one seminar (May 14th) one Field Trip (May 15th), and one Fundraiser (May 21st), this month so be sure to check your on-line website calendars!!!

On
May 15th we will be going to the Mercury Cafe to learn Jazz Swing dance and listen to life music!!! We will leave the leader's home at 7pm, and the leader will return you home before 11:30pm. Please make sure you mark your calendars. This is a Sunday - but hopefully you will be able to survive the dchool day on Monday! (giggle) Click here for a permission slip.

On May 21st - Saturday - we will be fundraising for our Hawaii trip at "Thorntonfest" We will need to set-up at 8am, and we will teardown at 5pm. This is an all day event - so plan accordingly!

We will also have to get together to complete our badge sheets and scrapbook page for our
STARS Program patch. A date for this will be announced soon.
FUTURE EVENTS
Currently we have plans for June 6th to go to the Butterfly Pavilion.

I also will be paying for 4 scouts and 3 adults to go to
Unit camp August 5, 6, and 7th. We will be working with other Cadettes and Seniors on the "Orienteering" Interest Project. Bianca will be leading the program for this badge, at Magic Sky Camp.

We will be assisting in the planning for this event with Bianca - on
May 14th - as part of our "Bridging to Adult" requirements, from 9am - 11:30am at the Northglenn Christian Church at 1800 E. 105th Place.

Please concentrate on selling cookbooks as we will use all the proceeds from these sales to pre-pay for events on our Hawaii trip!
