The Candy Man was a quiet vegetarian child who had never eaten meat or sugar until the age of 15. At age 15, he was offered a mountain dew and a blowpop. To the average American human being, this sounds like nothing special, but to the candyman, it changed his entire life. With the first taste of mountain dew he felt something he had never felt before, and energy surging through his body/ He could not stand still, and his words were spoken quicklly...and then, suddentlyly, the blowpop in his hand began to glow a red color. He was scared so he through the candy. The candy went forward with an unnatural force... the energy within the candy man had tranfered to the blowpop and it severed the chain of a tire swing nearby. Terrified, the young candy man ran away. AHe went back to his home, but he could not get the feeling out of his mind. He called his friend who had given him the mountain dew and insisted he bring him candy and Mt. Dew. This time Garrin ate the blowpop, which produced the same effect... the sugar high was insane and the candy man could barely control it. After eating the candy, he wanted more, so he drank the mountain dew... the whole case... and he was so powerful that he cowas able to burst forth into the air in flight. Ever since that day, the candyman has stockpiled candy and soda and anything with sugar to keep his powers alive. He uses them so often that his body is dependant upon them and that foods from his own diet can even weaken him. |
