| Perfect location above the Metro nightclub. Love the atmosphere, very relaxing! The interior down to the furniture, have all been designed by local artists. Enjoy views over the Kamo river over a cup of espresso. Good spot to meet before, during (you get a stamp on your hand remember!) or after visiting Club Metro. The dinner menu between 5-9PM looks good. After 9pm it's more for coffee and light snacks. |

| Shinpuhkan (literaly translated - "new-style hall") is a new shopping complex in the renovated old NTT building. It focuses on clothing and trendy lifestyle stores. George's is a pricey store with the trendiest in interior design. Ask a Giraffe is the cafe that is included to the side of, but essentially a part of GEORGE's. The cakes, tea and coffee! I personally recommend the fresh fruit tart - divine! (500Yen) |
