Cabbage meatballs
Ingredients
400g mince meat (aibiki niku)
2 shredded cabbage leaves
1/3 finely chopped onion
1 lightly beaten egg
4Tbspn milk
8Tbspn breadcrumbs
salt and pepper

grated daikon
2 shiso leaves torn into bitesize pieces

Method
1. Gently fry onion til transparent. Cool.
2. Mix together: onion, mince, milk, egg, salt and  pepper, breadcrumbs.
3.Add shredded cabbage and mix well.
4. Divide into 12balls.
5. Gently fry for a few minutes.
6. Add 4Tbspn water, cover and simmer on low heat for 7-8minutes.
7. Add 1Tbspn of dark soy sauce and quickly fry, shaking pan.
8. Top each ball with green shiso.
9. Strain grated daikon and serve.
