The blouse is made of lightweight flannel. The fabric pattern is green with tan swirls and tan and purple flowers. It has a collar and band, flap pocket, top stitching on collar, cuffs and pocket. I chose tan wooden buttons. The pattern is McCall's #8053.
The outfit is made from a linen look fabric, which I definitely will not use again because it does not breathe as linen or cotton, so it can get quite warm in the summer time. I make sure I wear it when we are going to be in air-conditioning. LOL!
The jacket has short sleeves. The pattern is a cream background with swirls and flowers in tan. The jacket is Simplicity pattern #7971.
The Top is sleeveless with a 16" back zipper for ease of getting it on and off and has slits on each side. It also is from Simplicity pattern #7971.
The Bermudas are tan with front zipper, front pleats,
two side slit pockets. The pattern is from McCall's #7674.
The slacks are in a lightweight black gaberdine. They have a side zipper, no belt loops and a side slit on each pant leg bottom. They are machine wash and dry. Light iron if prefer. The pattern is Butterick #4788.
The vest front is made of a cotton blend. The pattern is a black background with a design in green, gold, and medium and dark pink. I put 5/8" buttons with black diamond shapes set on a gold background. The vest is lined with a gold on gold printed lining fabric. The lining also is the back of the vest. The vest is New Look #6113 Easy 2 hour sewing. It is washable and hang to dry.
