29 MAY 2005 : ENGINE IS BACK! PICS AND THE WORK LIST.

The engine has returned and is looking good.  Crankshaft has been balanced.  Main bearing and conrod bearings all changed
The bearings still wrapped in the protective tape they came in.
Work list: Port/polish, tri-angled valves, adjusted shims, new valve guides, refaced valves, and refaced cylinder head.  Block has been hydrotested and checked. Crank and counter weights have been lightened along with the flywheel.  New piston rings and an engine re-balance were done as well.
These are the camgears, soon to be made adjustable.  Looks like a film projector from here.  Next up, we put in a new radiator,  an MSD 6A, and brand new water pump.

If there's one advice I can give someone trying this swap, consider doing the engine overhaul, and rebuild in advance before actually fitting the engine in.  It can save you a lot of headaches later on.
