Where is Marischa from? Marischa is born in Surinam, a former Dutch colony in South America. She moved to Holland at the age of six. A lot of great athletes came from, or have roots in this country. One of the greatest female fighters, Lucia Rijker, has roots in Surinam. Click on the map to find out more about this interesting country.
Some Background: Marischa has five brothers and one sister. They all live in
Holland. Two of her bothers were working out at a local gym. Marischa decided she wanted
