Chapter 1 - Accident
Brian loved this road. He was driving in his car to the house of his cousin, Kevin Richardson. He always liked this road. It was in the mountains and everywhere he looked where trees. It always inspired him, when he was working on a song. He had turned on the radio, the Red Hot Chili Peppers where playing their song 'By The Way'. He whistled the tune and he started to sing with the chorus:
'� Standing in line to see the show tonight and there's a light on� heavy glow. By the way I tried to say I'd be there� waiting for�'
His thoughts went to his best friends, who he would meet at Kevin's house. He would be happy to see them again. They where never that long separated from each other. The longest time was when he was in the hospital for his heart. Brian didn't like the memory of that time. This time it was 4 weeks since he had seen anyone of the guys. He had spoken a couple of times with Howie on the phone, but that was all. Nick was too busy with his first solo album and also the others where busy with their personal lives and plans. His mind went back on the road. He knew that in a couple of hours he would see them all again.
Brian's eyes went back to the road again. He took a curve and then it happened� a tree had fallen on the road. It was simply impossible to stop. Brian tries to brake, but then he close his eyes and prays that everything would be all right. On the moment his car hits the tree he feels a sharp pain in his whole body and then the darkness takes him and he knows no more�
Chapter 2 - The Call
Kevin looks happily around in his living room. His best friends surround him: AJ, Howie and Nick. Only his cousin and best friend Brian is still missing. Laughter fills the room. Nick has just pushed AJ out of his chair.
"I get you, Carter-boy!" AJ jumps on his feet and starts chasing Nick. Howie just looks and let then 'accidentally' Nick fall over his foot.
"Oops�" says Howie with a big grin.
"YOU little ---" on the same moment jumps AJ on Nick and starts to tickle him.
"No, bone please!!! Whahahaha�stop�hahahaha� I can take this� hahaha� Kevin do something�"
"Do what?" says Kevin with an evil smile.
" Whahahaha� Stop�. that idiot�."
"Say that your sorry, pretty-boy, then I maybe stop."
"Never�. Whahahahahaha�..hehahahe�.all�hahaha..right�.hahahaha�.SORRY!!!!"
AJ stops tickling Nick "Very good Nicky�"
"I will take revenge Boner just wait�"
"Now I'm scared," says AJ sarcastically.
"You'll better be�"
"Guys stop it now ok? Should Brian be here by now? He's normally never late," says Howie.
"Maybe he forgot�"
"Can't you say anything more stupid, bone? Brian is most of the time the first time who arrives, you know how he always miss us."
"I don't believe he miss you�"
"Bone� Nick� can you guys please stop for a moment teasing. I've got a weird feeling that something is not right," says Kevin with a worried look on his face. "I've got the feeling that something's happened."
The others give each other a look. '' Why don't you� call him?" suggest Howie.
"That's a good idea," says Kevin, who stands up to get his phone.

"O my god, I hope that the drivers are all right."
A young girl, with black clothes and hair, steps out of her car. She walks slowly towards the wreck of a car that has hit a tree.
"Good Lord, there is a guy in it� he doesn't look good."
She tries to open the door, but it's stuck. The window is broken and she tries to wake up Brian.
"Sir�.sir�. Are you awake??? Can you hear me? Wait a sec� you are a famous guy from�. How are they named again? �. I remember! Those Backstreet guys, you're one of them� Hey, Backstreet guy can you say something, please� You are still breathing aren't you?� yes, ok that's good."
On that moment a phone starts to ring.
"What's that??? That's not my phone� maybe it's yours�" She starts to look around in the car and then she sees it: a blue coloured phone. She bends through the window and grabs it. She hesitates for a moment and then answers the phone.
"Hello? Um� with Melissa Umbridge."
"Uhm� Hi� Melissa� I'm � Kevin�. Is uhm�. Brian around?"
Brian! That was his name, thinks Melissa. "Yes, but� I don't know how to say this, but� he is here� he was involved in an� accident�.. I think he's in a coma�"
