Go Ahead, You're Making Me Famous.
Girls Gossip? What a pain! High School can be one of the most over-dramatic time periods of a person's life. So what's the deal with the rumors anyways? Are you trying to put me down to make
yourself feel better?
Well FYI to all you trashing-talking girls that think life is all about you, it wont make matters any better. Ok, so maybe I DID hang out with your boyfriend, but does that give you the right to call me names like an attention %$&!@ ? I think not. If I am what you supposedly say I am, then talking about me will just give me more attention. All right, so your plan just backfired already.
Another issue. Do you have a part of your body that you feel extremely self-conscious about? Of course! Every girl ever known to man-kind has things they don't like about themselves, it's completely natural. Those problems may be a huge deal in your eyes, but don't point out other peoples flaws just because you're scared of your own. Thanks, I know you are staring at me long enough to be able to see all my flaws, but personally, I don't want to hear them. Don't you think I know them already? Even if other people can't tell, what makes you think that you have power over anyone else?
So to all you so called "popular girls" out there, stop spreading the rumors, and lets keep the drama to a minimum.
Strike Three, You're...Out?
He's hurt you before, what makes you think he won't hurt you again? Of course, I mean, everyone does deserve a second chance, but when do those second chances become a tad overboard? You tell yourself the classic line, "Three strikes, You're out!" but is that really going to apply when he comes back to you with those trusting words or that calming smile? Of course not. Pretty soon, you allow that boy to receive extra hits, which can also be related to those ongoing "foul balls." The foul balls start to become excessive, and I know you really want him to work out, but when is it time to say enough is enough and get a new hitter up to the hitter's mound?
I know, I know. It's definitely not as easy as it sounds. Personally, I'm right there with you. Without giving him that extra foul ball, you might question yourself, wondering if that one time you didn't give in, he was
finally a good boyfriend. Well, open your eyes you high school romancers, he's never going to change. As much as you believe it's going to happen, it wont. So stop living for the what if's and start treating yourself right by dropping that dirtbag and finding someone that is more about YOU. Believe me, it may not seem like it right now, but he's out there.
Brought to you by your very own, Han.
Have a good 2007 Summer Season!
