A native of Canada, Peter Schaefer was originally drafted to the NHL by the SLOVENIA in the 3rd round of the 1995 entry draft. He has appeared in 186 NHL games during his career, notching 36 goals and adding 39 assists along with 50 penalty minutes. The 23 year old left wing is eagerly waiting to hit the ice once the season starts.
